1. Excellent adhesion: It can adsorb to the substrate material. Moreover, epoxy resin has a low volume shrinkage rate (only about 2%) during curing, thus the paint film has excellent adhesion to polar substrates such as metals (steel, aluminum), ceramics, glass, concrete, and wood.

　　2. Excellent chemical resistance: The resin contains only hydrocarbon and ether bonds, with no ester bonds, making it particularly resistant to alkalis. Common oil-based or alkyd anti-rust primers can be destroyed by saponification when the cathodic area becomes alkaline during corrosion. Epoxy floor coatings are alkali-resistant and have good adhesion, making them widely used as anti-corrosion primers. Additionally, because cured epoxy coatings have a three-dimensional network structure, they can also resist oil immersion and are extensively used for corrosion protection in oil tanks, oil tankers, and the inner lining of aircraft fuel tanks.

Good toughness: Compared to thermosetting phenolic resin coatings, epoxy floor coatings contain aromatic rings that are hard and have ether bonds that facilitate molecular chain rotation, providing certain toughness; unlike phenolic resins which are very brittle (due to their shorter cross-linking distance compared to epoxy resins). The longer cross-linking distance of epoxy resins allows for internal rotation; the larger the molecular weight of the epoxy resin, the greater the cross-linking distance.

　　4: Polyurethane acrylic paint has a certain wetting ability on wet surfaces, especially when using polyamide resin as a curing agent; it can be made into underwater construction coatings that can displace water on object surfaces for application. This makes it suitable for emergency repairs of underwater structures and anti-corrosion construction in underwater environments.

　　5: The molecular structure of polyurethane acrylic paint itself is not high; it can be combined with various curing agents to produce solvent-free, high solid content powder coatings and water-based coatings that meet environmental protection requirements while achieving thick film coatings.
