Excellent chemical resistance: The resin contains only hydrocarbon and ether bonds, without ester bonds, so it has particularly outstanding alkali resistance compared to general oil-based or alkyd anti-rust primers. During corrosion, the cathodic area becomes alkaline and can be destroyed by saponification. Epoxy floor coatings are alkali-resistant and have good adhesion, making them widely used as anti-corrosion primers. Additionally, because epoxy coatings form a three-dimensional network structure after curing, they can also resist oil immersion, making them suitable for use in oil tanks, oil tankers, and the inner lining of aircraft fuel tanks.
